I'll do Samantha's mom one better:

When I was 14 my mother thought it was a fine idea to direct me and my best friend to get into a panel van with two unknown sailors on shore leave to "show them around town." The van had two seats, no windows, and a bare matress in back. I was so worried about my mother's displeasure that I got in against my better judgment.

I thank God on the regular that those two soldiers had more sense than my mother. We climbed in, they asked us how old we were, we told them, and they took us directly home.
